Sheree Rymer, Associate Principal Student Life (Interim) at Education Partnership North East, will explore how they have repositioned “pastoral” and “enrichment” into a coherent Enhanced Curriculum, led strategically by Student Services, that is explicitly mapped to future skills, Ofsted’s Participation and Development expectations and key statutory frameworks. Drawing on their Global Skills Curriculum Framework and their Changemaking Personal Development Framework, Sheree will show how student services leadership can drive consistency, progression and a powerful sense of belonging from Entry 3 to Level 3 Year 2.

Rebekah Rogers, Head of Therapies & Community Services at Homefield College, will look at understanding behaviour – triggers, escalation cycle and functions. Rebekah will talk about the meanings behind them and interpretation of the functions and implementing proactive strategies to support moving forward; she will also provide an insight to IncludED pbs approach.
