90% of young people use the popular social media app Snapchat – yet this platform accounts for over 48% of all online grooming cases. Told through the eyes of a mother of a teenage girl groomed on this platform, Heather highlights how innocent online interactions can very quickly lead to high-risk real-life situations and information on personal safety laws that can save lives.

The session, which has been described as “real, raw and impactful” by educators, shines a light on why Snapchat is so attractive to online predators and how every young person using this platform may be at risk.
