The national voice for student services

I think this event was perfect and I was encouraged to hear about the ways in which good and innovative practice are going to be shared in between meetings going forward.

This was my first NAMSS Conference …. I found the workshops and opportunity to network and share best practice and experiences invaluable.

….That there are hundreds of people around the country trying to achieve similar goals – amazing to be surrounded by people with the same passion for students.

During the workshops I gained insight into how other colleges operate and learned about new regulations, it was insightful to compare practices and gain updates that could enhance our own processes.

It’s so helpful to know that you are not on your own with the guidelines to bursary, to meet other people who all feel the same – makes me feel much better about the work we do.

Overall a fab day, loved the mix of keynote speakers and different workshops. I managed to attend all of the workshops I wanted to…they were all informative and it was great to see other colleges perspectives.
