| Synopsis: | Many colleges have a youth work involvement in organising enrichment programmes or to liaise and support the Student Association/Union, but how do you develop this service to help learners overcome personal difficulties, enhance the quality of their lives and improve retention?
This workshop will explore the range of work that can be done and show how the college has increased its youth worker staffing level to 4.8 FTEs – even when budgets are being squeezed. |
