For the first time in 40 years the education leaving age will soon be increasing meaning that all young people will be required to stay in education until the age of 17 from 2013 and to 18 from 2015. There is a lot for Colleges to do over the next eighteen months to get ready for this change.

This one day conference will set out the new legal framework for RPA and explore how Colleges can increase enrolment, keep students and work with employers in what is becoming an increasingly competitive environment. The opportunities and challenges which lie ahead will be addressed, including how to reach out to young people not in education, employment or training, requirements for data transfer, changes to the curriculum, careers advice, bursaries and more.
