NAMSS National Conference 2012

The 2012 National NAMSS Conference will took place at the Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel on 12th and 13th March. Our key note speaker on the first day was Nick Linford and on the second day we were joined by Christine Rose.

Workshops over the two days focused on a number of themes. Day one included workshops on Additional Learning Support, Post 16 Funding, Counselling, Health and Well-Being and Tutorial.

Day two included workshops on Equality and Diversity, Careers, The new Common Inspection Framework, Enrichment and Tutorial.

Nick Lindford

Nick is passionate about the contribution that the post-16 learning and skills sector makesto peoples lives and the UK economy. Since 2006 Nick has been playing a leading role incapacity building on the use of funding, performance, data quality and curriculum planningin the learning and skills sector.

Training

In 2008 Nick authored the first Hands-on guide to post-16 fundingwhich was published by Edexcel.With more than 10,000 sales the secondedition was published in 2009, whichwas shortly followed by writing theHands on guide to post-16 performanceand data, published by Pearson

Christine Rose
