The New Common Inspection Framework

Ofsted will have revised the Common Inspection Framework for the further education and skills sector which will result in more focused inspections, with fewer judgements and grades, leading to reports on the most important aspects of the quality of learning and skills provision. The revised framework will be used on inspections from September 2012. This work shop is an opportunity to explore these changes and consider how it will impact both on inspection and self assessment for colleges and providers.
