Additional Learning Support

Additional Learning Support continues to present challenges to many colleges. This workshop will aim to clarify current issues around ALS and explore any future developments. The session moves on to discuss the types of support available for students and the restrictions caused by capping of additional support cost funding. Particular emphasis will be place done types of support programmes operated, and how learners access ALS. Of particular note will be the support required for learners who have difficulty in accessing assistance because of their learning and social needs
