Welcome to NAMSS Annual Conference 2018
NAMSS ANNUAL CONFERENCE
19 - 20 March, 2018
Hyatt Regency, Birmingham
NAMSS (National Association for Managers of Student Services), established in 1987 as a registered charity with the Charity Commission, operates as a non profit organisation to provide support and professional development for Managers of Services who support learners in education and training.
Every March NAMSS hosts a National Conference for all members designed to promote the sharing of contemporary practice. This two-day annual event gives like minded professionals the chance to meet in a chosen city and network with over 140 managers and support staff.
NAMSS’ National Conference 2018 will once more be a fabulous two-day event. The Conference, sponsored by eSafe, will cover many aspects of student services including guest speakers and workshops covering Transgender in FE, Mental Health, SEND/Supported Internships, IAG/Matrix, Drugs/Substance Misuse, Gangs, Enrichment/Tutorials, Inspecting PDBW, Prevent and Learner Voice. Our marketplace at Conference will include a wide range of exhibitors offering services and innovative solutions to support your day-to-day operations. Guest speakers include Nick Linford, founder of Lsect, Andy Cope, from the Art of Brilliance and Dickon Bevington, Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Director at the Anna Freud Centre.
