NAMSS Executive

What is the NAMSS Executive?

The Executive exists to further the profile, service and influence of NAMSS. It is the responsibility of the Executive to shape the direction of NAMSS, both in the services it provides for members and its lobbying on the behalf of members to key government organisations. Each member of the Executive has voting rights for the purpose of agreeing actions for the functioning and development of NAMSS.

Who Can Be a Member of the Executive?

The Executive Committee consists of elected members of no less than 8 and no more than 12 members.

Nominations for election must be made by NAMSS members in writing and must be in the hands of the secretary of the Executive Committee at least 14 days before the annual general meeting. Should nominations exceed vacancies, election shall be by secret ballot.

Any changes to Executive membership will be announced at the annual general meeting.
